sawadadesignは、対話の中から本質を見つけ出し、戦略的な思考とやわらかな感性をかたちにするデザインを手がけています。
ブランドの考え方や方向性を対話によって整理しながら、ロゴなどのVisual Identityをはじめ、パッケージ、ポスター、冊子、Web、キャラクターデザインなど、目的に応じて必要なかたちを考え、さまざまなグラフィックへと展開しています。
20年以上のデザイン経験をもとに、お客様自身もまだ気づいていない思いや価値を一緒に探しながら、何をつくるかだけでなく、どう伝えるか、どの媒体が必要かまで考えます。
ご相談いただいた内容をそのまま形にするのではなく、時には媒体そのものを見直し、より自然に届く方法をご提案します。
答えを急がず、一緒に考え、話し、必要なかたちを見つけていく。

sawadadesign is an independent design practice that uncovers the essence of each project through dialogue, shaping strategic thinking and a soft, intuitive sensibility into visual form.
I work with clients to clarify the ideas and direction behind their brands, then develop the most appropriate forms of communication for each project. My work ranges from visual identity and logo design to packaging, posters, editorial design, websites, and character design.
With over 20 years of experience in design, I value the process of uncovering ideas and values that may not yet be fully articulated. I consider not only what should be designed, but also how it should be communicated and which medium is actually needed.
Rather than simply turning a request into a finished piece, I sometimes rethink the format itself and propose a more natural and effective way to communicate.
I do not rush to an answer. I prefer to think, talk, and explore together, until we find the form that feels right.

澤田直孝
グラフィックデザイナー。

桑沢デザイン研究所卒業。デザイン制作会社勤務を経て、2010年sawadadesignを設立。グラフィックデザインを軸にして、イラストレーション、テキスタイル、デジタル制作、空間ディレクションなど、領域にとらわれない活動をしています。
主な受賞歴として、NY-ADC Merit賞、東京ADC入賞、日経BP Marketing Awards最優秀賞など。
Naotaka Sawada
Graphic Designer 
After graduating from Kuwasawa Design School and working at a design studio, Naotaka founded sawadadesign in 2010.
With a foundation in graphic design, his work extends across illustration, textile design, digital media, and spatial direction, bringing a flexible, cross-disciplinary approach to visual communication.
His awards include NY-ADC Merit, Tokyo ADC selections, and the Grand Prize at the Nikkei BP Marketing Awards.
Member of the Japan Graphic Designers Association (JAGDA).
